Houses around Thief Lane for 4-7 

All of our houses are in the prime Thief Lane area just off University Road. Thief Lane has long been the best location for student houses in York and we are sure you will not find a better location in York. 


Our houses are typically five minutes walk from the Heslington campus, and a few minutes from the shops, takeways and supermarket. They all met the YorProperty+ standard.


All of our houses have a separate lounge as well as the kitchen. Most have eat in kitchens as well. they all have gardens.


The houses are intended to be student houses aimed at what you will want during the year. Furniture and decoration is replaced on a roling basis but they are intentionally not like a show home, which you would have no chance of maintaining. The aim is that you don't have to worry about putting up pictures or putting cups on desks etc. We don't expect you to keep it immaculate, although it woulld be nice if you did, and we don't want to have to charge you for minor marks.


We do not have solid wall victorian terraces with backyards but only have semi detached houses with cavity walls, gardens, double glazing and parking.


And you don't need to have a minibus to get you there. They are minutes walk from campus and from each other.


Many of our tenants stay on with us with one group staying into their fourth year.


And we usually use current tenants to show you round the houses, so you can be sure of an honest opinion of us and the area.


Bills including unlinited broadband are included, so you don't have to worry about putting the heating on.

Houses are are for four, five, six or seven people, because larger groups have more fun and fall out less.
